About

The Creepy Crawly Classrooms project aims to bring entomology right into the heart of the school environment.  The project is being run in Primary 3 classes across Clackmannanshire.

Each class is visited by an entomologist who introduces the project and discusses various aspect of minibeasts with the class.  The class is then given three 'blunder' traps which are coated with a special glue that catches any minibeasts that walk over it.  These traps are set in the school - one in the classroom, one in a storeroom and one in the headteacher's office!  The traps are left for a month and then collected and the catch identified.

The results will be posted on this website and compared between each school and between each location within the schools.
