The results are in!
We've collected the traps from the schools that took part in the Creepy Crawly Classrooms project and we've looked at the catch! The results for each school are shown below:
Muckhart Primary School, Muckhart
All three traps were collected from Muckhart Primary School however the traps in the headteacher's office and the cleaner's cupboard didn't catch anything. The trap in the classroom did catch something - a very small silverfish.
Park Primary School, Alloa
Unfortunately, all the traps at Park Primary School in Alloa went missing. We'll return later in the year to see what we can catch!
St. Mungo's Primary School, Alloa
Only two traps were collected from St. Mungo's Primary School in Alloa. The third trap, from the cleaner's cupboard was accidentally removed and put in the bin. The trap from the headteacher's office didn't have any creepy crawlies on it, however the trap in the classroom had a tiny springtail on it.
Strathdevon Primary School, Dollar
All three traps were collected from Strathdevon Primary School in Dollar. There was nothing on the trap from the cleaner's cupboard, however the trap in the headteacher's office had a small fungus gnat on it. The trap in the classroom had two ants and 10 tiny booklice stuck to it.
