Research

Bradan Aquasurveys participates in a wide range of research projects aimed at furthering our knowledge of invertebrate species ecology, distribution and conservation.

Bradan Aquasurveys also hosts the website of the Ephemeroptera Recording Scheme - A National scheme promoting the study of mayflies and the mapping of mayfly species distributions.

We are also members of the Bats and The Millennium Link project team.  We are currently investigating the diet of Daubenton's bats along the Central Scotland canal network using a variety of techniques including dropping analysis,  Malaise traps and sticky traps.
